Welcome to Morgan County!

Morgan County is conveniently located near the connecting points of Interstate highways 70, 81, and 68 -- an easy 90-minute drive from Washington D.C., and Baltimore.  Within 500 miles are two out of the three of America's retail customers and industrial suppliers.

Morgan County offers far more than a superb location.  A skilled, low-cost work force is anxious to serve your needs.  Potomac Electric offers power at comparatively low rates.  Bell Atlantic has provided the area with a state-of-the-art communications infrastructure, of particular value for back-office operations.

The site in our industrial park located along a major highway (US Route 522), minutes away from a web of interstate highways.  West Virginia adds appeal with a superior package of financial incentives and worker training programs.

Another bonus for you is Morgan County's desirable combination of small town sensibilities and big city opportunities.  Washington, with the Smithsonian, Kennedy Center and vast art museums; Baltimore, with the Johns Hopkins medical center, the Orioles and the Ravens -- are all within an easy drive.

Berkeley Springs State Park, one of the country's oldest, is home to famed warm mineral springs.  It is also the village green for the county seat of Berkeley Springs.  Nearby is Cacapon State Park, with the Robert Trent Jones Jr. - designed golf course.  We're the mecca for history buffs.  George Washington surveyed the area and selected a site in Berkeley Springs for a summer home.  Union and Confederate troops conducted a literal tug of war in the area.

We're proud of our friendly, secure atmosphere, reflecting West Virginia's tradition of having the nation's lowest rate of crime.

Morgan County has long been overlooked.  Now is the time to look us over.  You'll see a picture that combines profits and comfortable living.
