This bit is very dated. One of these days I, along with my friends Paul and JEn will make a new video now that I have all the technology to do this justice on my laptop...

Most of the original text follows, my OS/2 rant has been removed since I have just given it up for Linux and Windows 2000 Pro.

This recording was made using a Dell XP133 with 16Megs of Ram and a 2 gig hard disk. Video capture was done by ATI Technologies Video-IT!. The whole video clip was about 543 Megs (uncompressed) and lasted about 10 minutes. After cutting and trimming the file, it was 1 minute 3 seconds long and 83 Megs (uncompressed). After trying the various codec compressions I settled on the 8.3 Megs file as the best possible size, although I am unhappy with the size still. It should be about 1 meg.

What I would have liked to have done to the clip is shrink it down to 120x160, but the software didn't allow me to do that. Then I wanted to make the video monochrome, but that didn't work either (file size was the same size as color). If someone can point the way to some software which I can edit with, please let me know.
