About this Guide
This site is maintained by
Bob Duval
West Virginia University Department of Political Science
and the
West Virginia University Institute for Public Affairs
This site is intended to provide a set of links useful for navigating the World Wide Web in the areas of Political Science, International Affairs, Public Policy, and Public Affairs. It is updated frequently, and is still under development. Since the Web is permanently 'under construction', the customary warning signs are usually omitted.

Explanation of Icons Used in Poly-Cy
A number of graphic Icons have been incorporated into Poly-Cy. Icons with transparent or light color backgrounds indicate information about the site. Those with blue backgrounds are linked to the appropriate page on the indicated web site.
For Academic Departments:
A Word Concerning Sites and Individuals Linked by Poly-Cy
The Web is a fluid medium that changes daily. As a result, sites come and go, or change their URL's quite frequently. If you modify your site, please let me know of any relevant changes. If you discover that a link in this Guide is incorrect, or does not function please let me know as well. I try to respond to e-mail requests relatively quickly. If for some reason a week or two has gone by since you requested a listing or noted a problem try again. I occasionally lose things in the shuffle.
